I was thoroughly disappointed with Steve Martin's first foray into Sellers territory. I was astounded to learn that a sequel was being released. Needless to say, it's not a great movie, but it is a perfectly good, mindless time killer, if you have time to kill. The theater was not filled to capacity, but there were very few outbursts of laughter. Actually, the same 2 or 3 people were heard laughing at a handful of silly moments. Dpon't pay to see this movie, rent it if you are desperate for anything to watch, or if you are 12 years of age (and under)

There are such things as advanced screenings, but when you wrote your review, the likelyhood of there being an advance screening more than a few days before the actual premiere, is rare... this movie opens on friday, once it does, we'll see more accurate reviews...

FYI webmaster... it is possible. I saw Gran Torino and Taken before they even premiered on the big screen. Such little closed minds people have *roll my eyes*

The advance screening (Colossus Laval)was last Wednesday. You can (be misguided and)presume to know better, but if you investigate instead of insinuate, you would learn that you might be best to refrain from making accusations. I will assume that someone who is so bold as to question the veracity of my claim, will have, at his/her disposal, verifiable sources who can prove or disprove the stated date I offered. Might I suggest that you confirm with you "connections". I await your apology.

Its ok people if you haven't notices the people who gave it a thumbs down didnt even like the first one so they went into the theatre with pre concieved notions that it was going to be crap... and you can tell they are humor less if simple things cant make you laugh in this world these days I feel bad for you! :( thats what we all need a little light comedy in our stressful lives but obviously there are people who just dont laugh and instead of laughing say its ridiculous or what ever (which is the point!! Duhhh) but its whatever... I'm still gonna go see it open minded and all and one night will write a real review ill be honest if it was actually bad or good...
