What really bugs me about this movie, and it's the reason why I give it a 6 and not a 7, is the fact that they had the nerve to disregard the 2003 Ang Lee "Hulk" film and do a reboot, when the 2003 Hulk film is a far better movie. The special effects in The Incredible Hulk are much better, I'll admit, but the movie is so average and lifeless. None of the actors do half as good a job with their characters as their 2003 counterparts. While I love Edward Norton, he was so-so in this, William Hurt can't touch Sam Elliot, and Liv Tyler ought to win a lifetime achievement award for being a pain the butt just for this movie. If it weren't for Tim Roth and a couple of awesome actions scenes, this movie would be totally unacceptable. Plus, the Hulk's face is just dumb.
