I found it hard to watch the whole film if I wasn't 7 miles from my house when I was watching I would have walked home I used to like romantic comedies but I haven't seen one for a long time, Goldberg was funny in the movie but for me Delpy is a lot like Nicole Kidman just Blah blah blah I also was expecting a movie like same time next year my favorite movie of all time no such luck, a lot of talk no action (none that made me go ohh ahh) I give this movie 9 blahs out of 10.

I thought it was the worse movie I hadn't seen in a long time... I should have followed my instinct; after 15 minutes go into another movie.

Great movie about man/woman relationship. Good performance by both Julie and Adam. The movie tend to drag toward the end but I would still recommend to see it...

The script for this movie was genius. Sooo funny in a "it hurts to watch" kind of way.

Love the funny slant on romance... rather novel and yet held truths behind them. Appreciated the humor and pace, as well.

Witty, intelligent, and creatively filmed/edited. Julie Delpy's really become the whole package, now: writer, director, female lead... great film! She and Adam Goldberg are a great team as the cross-cultural lead couple.

Adam Goldberg rocked the movie!!! He made this movie really special. His witty side and sarcastic/neurotic brand of humor totally shined through. Julie Delpy and him actually were like the odd but totally enjoyable to watch couple. For her first film I'm actually surprised. It isn't like the two paris movies she filmed with Ethan Hawke at all. I mean sure she probably got her inspiration from there but the dialogue and chemistry is entirely different and refreshing. Watch out for Julie's real life father in the movie: Albert Delpy. The guy is totally hilarious!!! Highly recommended.

Julie Delpy is a woman of many talents, one of the least endearing being the ability to play a motormouth as if she were born that way. However it certainly suits this film about a sexually enlightened and humourous group of individuals in the artistic community of Paris, France. Seeing as she cast her father in the role of her father, the motormouth part probably comes naturally.

Fantastic film. Julie Delpy is a fantastic director and nails the intricacies and "everyday-ness" of a young couple with their differences. Very well written and performed. Adam Goldberg, Julie Delpy and her father are all spectacular. One of the most honest and realistic relationship movie ever made. Close second to "Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind"...

Loved it. Diaglogue was wonderful. Haven't laughed so hard in a long time. Julie Delpy is extremely talented not just as an actress but as a director. Felt it was a very realistic interpretation of both cultures.

I used to live in Toronto but I'm French, and I think this movie with Woody Allen style dialogues does put the emphasis on some real stereotypes the Americans can have about Europe, France and Paris. Quite funny.

I expected to really like this film, after all, it is set in Paris, so how bad could it be? Frankly it's the worst film I've seen in a very long time, not as bad as the Blair Witch Project which still holds the record, but not worthy of the time it took to watch it. Not much was even made of the foolproof setting, perhaps the most beautiful city in the entire world. The dialogue was an irritating pseudo-Woody Allenesque style that really rubbed me the wrong way. Alas!

True-to-life relationship conflicts, all told by one lady: the writer, director, and lead heroine. Great chic-flic and for couples - the men can identify with the comedic irony of the man's perspective.

It's a film that surprises you, even after leaving the cinema, thoughts and associations with these two strongly-written characters will stay with you. Delpy's vision of Paris -- not the picture-perfect view offered in films like Before Sunset or Amelie -- is often bitter and often reinforces those absurd stereotypes which you hear a lot from the North American press. But it's all packaged in an inventive way, sometimes playful, sometimes angry, but always engaging.

A totally hilarious woody allen-esque movie complete with old fashioned black rimmed glasses! Julie Delpy is really amazing both as leading actress and director in this funny movie which pokes a lot of fun at both french and american culture as well as romantic relationships. Very entertaining!

I really enjoyed this movie. I prefer movies that are dialogue-heavy with minimal action. If you have a similar preference and enjoyed the conversational flow of "Before Sunrise", you will definitely enjoy this. Delpy does a wonderful job of developing her characters in a multi-faceted, dynamic way. This movie will not blow your mind, but it will subtly linger on your brain for days to follow... Very provocative.

I found this film to be very entertaining. A great end of summer film. Delpy is obviously very talented and Golberg is like a younger (angrier!) Woody Allen.

It is all right. It is not great or attention getting or anything. The performance of the actors are okay.
