The word," rivetting", is my first choice if I had only one word to describe this film. Jodie Foster's performance is stellar, a level that I've come to expect from her and she never disappoints me. Loved Terrence Howard as the detective with intregrity. You have to ask yourself, what would you do if it happened to you? Could you just swallow it and limp on as best you could? Or would you too actually do something effective? As for the villains? They got what they deserved instead of the usual 3 years or so, with time off for good behaviour.
