You guys are really tolerant. This was about as juvenile and simplistic a motion picture as you can get. ALL it has is decent special effects. That's it. I mean Ocean's Thirteen has a ton of holes but is exactly what it's supposed to be, a fun flick. I don't think FF2 pulls it off. Maybe a fun flick for kids, but for adults? No sir. I would strongly argue that this movie is ONLY good for children 13 years of age and younger. I even think for comic-book fans, this film is a pure atrocity. A boring atrocity at that. Btw, I really hated the first one too. So keep that in mind. All you get is a decent action film with plenty of special effects wow. I'll give you this though, if you accept BEFORE hand that the movie is going to be nothing but popcorn entertainment, then fine, the ride can be kinda fun. It even has a much more satisfying end than Spidey 3 (which I think is a far superior film) Worst summer sequel so far. BUT, and this is me ending on a positive note, it's worth noting that this is the only sequel so far that is a BETTER film than its predecessor. FF2 ) FF. There's no doubt in my mind on that one.
