Terrific performances from every single cast member help propel this thriller into the top movies of the year (let's say 6th best) Ben Affleck definitely knows what he's doing behind the camera and Casey seems to know what he's doing in front of one. I'm sure hope Ben stays behind cameras from now on. This movie is also particularly effective at giving you a feel of working-class Boston. I'm sure that the Wahlbergs will feel right at home watching this movie. On the movie itself, it's definitely a thinking man's dramatic thriller offering very Rich character development. It's very much a cross of Mystic River with The Departed. And where The Departed felt like more of a fantasy throughout, this feels VERY real. Strongly recommended.
