I liked this film on several counts, but in particular because of the presence of the amazing Oscar Winning star, Ellen Burstyn, who is in constant demand for films, even in her old age. The film deals with the human condition, in particular "surviving." There is a first trauma for the children, but once with their great grandma, more woes come up that all lead to the animal instinct in us to survive. This film should have received much more attention from the public, but it did not. It deals with our mortal existence which no one seems to care about. Even middle aged folk just want action and thrills no matter how moronic they are!
