I wasn't familiar with the graphic novel it was based on so my expectations were solely based on the trailers - A sort of Bend It Like Beckham with bullets and assasins and boy did thay make it look full of adrenalin and sexy. And it it this and more. Amazing actions sequences and stunts - a few definitely took my breath away However it was much darker than I expected but this did not detract from my enjoyment of the film. It's a film about assasins who can do amazing things with knives, bullets and some cases their bodies. There were parts that reminded me of "Kill Bill" for the graphic violence. James McAvoy is superb and more than holds his own with Morgan Freeman and Angeline Jolie Definitely worth seeing but given as the tone of the movie is much darker than expected, I wish I'd seen an earlier screening as I do not want to go to bet with those images in my mind.
