I fail to see how this one can get a good rating. The costumes are beautiful and so is the scenery but it ends there. I was unable to sit the entire film, long of 3 hours and 16 minutes, complete with an intermission at half time!? Veer-Zarra may very well be a cultural icon, drawing Pakistan and India a little closer too each other. It also has women's liberation undertones. Preity Zinta is a terrible acteur in her portrayal of Zaara. Her singing sounds like the chipmunks. Shahrukh Khan is a bit better as Veer. If you are not from that part of the world, stay away. The title could have very well been:Donny and Marie Osmond goes to India. You have been warned.
