Maybe Mickey is an Arnold wannabe... but unfortunately Mickey is not an action hero and watching an overthehill loser actor play the role of an overthehill loser wrestler for two tedious hours is torture. Gratuitous blood letting, grunting, slobering and bathroom scenes aside... this movie stinks.

Hi... I actually only went because one critic's reveiew I read was touting dear Mickey for an oscar. To be honest... Rourke's been out of sight for so long I had forgot how talentless he is.
You bounce off ropes! I catch you! I hoist you up! I helicopter you! I slam you down on mat! You bounce out of ring into ladies in mink coats in front who empty diet pepsis on you! Go to the showers! Learn something about acting!
I you didn't like the idea of the movie and you didn't like the actor in the movie in the first place then why did you waste your time to go see it and waste everyone elses time writing a poor review about a movie that was actually very good maybe you should pick your movies better.
I never said I didn't like the idea of the movie. I said I didn't like the movie. I'm also fond of Arnold the actor so it's clear that I can appreciate good comic relief when I see it [...] The problem is that this film is not a comedy either.
