The first Wolverine was unexpectedly amazing. I thought for sure the same successful formula would continue here, and perhaps they tried, but failed. It starts very slow, it made me wonder if it was going anywhere at all. Hugh Jackman excellent, of course, but the problem is what he has to work with. The dialog and the acting are very light, and the story ends up being all out action, none of which was compelling enough to make me want to stay and see what happens in the end. I felt that I knew how it was going to go, and that somehow everything was going to line up perfectly. The villain lady, terrible. Oh, by the way, don't leave right away, there is one more scene during the credits... it reveals a lot I guess, shocking perhaps, but it was so silly that made some people laugh. The 3D non existent. If you are an X-Men fan, then OK, but otherwise I would not recommend this movie.

The only place I agree with you is that the 3D was not necessary! This movie was excellent, a lot better than the 1st one!
