    The Window

This RKO 'film noir from 1949 is barely a B movie yet it gives us some big name stars in Ruth Roman, Barbara Rush, dependable Arthur Kennedy and kid sensation of the time Bobby Driscoll. The boy's fear of a window is all quite sensational but would barely pass as a television drama in 2015. It's too short a film to tackle problems in an in depth manner as needed. By 1949 the once great RKO studios was falling apart mainly due to Howard Hughes. By the 50's it would be purchased by Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz and become known as DESILU, the home for filming live television comedy.
