I first saw this harrowing experience called The Whistleblower back in 2011 and it stunned me on revisiting it once more a few days ago. Rachel Weisz won a deserved Oscar for her work in the Supporting Category. She easily could and should have been nominated in the Lead Role. Hers was a deserving win! The performances are all sensational, an absolute necessity to make this unsettling plot come to life, a story that lies beyond anything of a realistic nature. Much is disturbing and difficult to watch as the events unfold to reveal the worst side of human nature. The brutality and extreme violence, the entire disclosure of human sex trafficking and the most deplorable of situations in Bosnia are almost too much to bear. However, as we learn of major corruption in very high places, it all turns as deplorable as it can be. My final world is on the human sex trafficking which, as of 2015, continues to rear its ugly head. In global terms, it is worse than ever. A NEW DOCUMENTARY called TRICKED explores the shocking look inside America's sex trade. Imagine what is happening universally especially in places of war and little democracy such as the Middle East!
