This isn't as bad a movie as I expected it to be. Yes, it has a great deal of Angelina Jolie in it and I really cannot stand her as an actress, but she plays this particular role pretty good, that is she strikes the poses and pouts her lips and wears the makeup and dresses elegantly and most of all just stares in the distance! Johnny Depp is quite good, as usual. The problem is that this movie is a remake of an excellent French movie, and it seems almost everytime Hollywood decides to remake a great French movie, they muck it up and lessen its genious and charm. 6/10, not bad, but could and should have been much better.

Unfortunately, Angelina is certainly one of the best lead female actresses of our time, like it or not, few females can take on and own a movie like Angelina.
