    The Taming of the Shrew

This Sam Taylor romantic romp was made for Mary Pickford and Douglas Fairbanks who were married at the time. As non stop bickering 'to be" lovers the movie is only lacklustre at best. I guess the two didn't get along that well as man and wife as a divorce was imminent, a shocker in old Hollywood. This film didn't seem to suit the two stars who had totally different personas in movie land.
