    The Stepford Wives

A dark comedy with an important skillful message socially commenting on this dangerous conformity era of W. BUSH. Glen Close, Matthew Broderick and Bette Midler are all perfectly cast delivering solid performances. Christopher Walken deserves yet another Oscar nomination for his supporting performance. Nicole Kidman is once again strong in yet another off beat role. The only major weak link is Faith Hill. This is not a blockbuster but a film that does deserve your attention during this summer season. A mature audience will appreciate the material and writing more than adolescents. Worth the price of admission.
