Jessie Eisenberg delivers a role that's mesmerizing, funny, and perfectly performed. Along with the stellar performance of Andrew Garfield, who was surprisingly not nominated for an Academy Award, stole this film completely. The Social Network's focus is towards a network that involves people, and how people react to certain situations because the entire film's story was about people and the reactions people had to certain things. The characters needed to be cool, and realistic. The film is all about character and Fincher portrayed that beautifully. The performances were stellar from every actor in the film which makes this film mesmerizing based on their captivating roles. However, what truly makes this movie entertaining was its incredible screenplay. The writing was phenomenal, and the film truly deserved its oscar. Most movies are entertaining by its action or adventure, Social Network entertains the hard way. He entertains us by characters conversing, supported by an excellent screenplay. Fincher executes the hard way when it comes to entertainment, and he's a veteran at entertainment, and no this isn't the best movie of the year, but it's the most compelling when it comes down to character entertainment.
