Stephen Frears rarely makes a weak movie. Catch Dirty Pretty Things and High Fidelity for two of his recent masterpieces then go back to his earlier fine films. Guaranteed oscar nom for the almost always amazing Helen Mirren who captures the queen completely. Michael Sheen is great as well as Tony Bliar. Marvelous script and supporting performances. Profoundly captures the tragedy of Diana's death and its impact on those who knew her.
