A pretty good movie. A different kind of 'fairy tale' or 'date' movie. However, a movie set in the U. S. (i. e. Wisconsin), during which the American Thanksgiving happens, really should've been filmed in the fall, and not one of the hottest summers on record. At first, I didn't care for all those product placements in the first (American) half, but maybe the the director (Martha Coolidge) was trying to say something about the film industry, without actually saying anything. Eddie's coronation speech was way too long, but any movie that includes a well-done Tom Waits cover is still worth watching.
