An eminently watchable film of the Bettie Page story. The cinematography was impeccable, although stock film was used quite a bit. The colour film had that unique colour and texture that uniquely 1950s. Grecthen Mol is a delight to watch and she captured the vulnerable but resilient character of Bettie Page.

Bettie Page, no matter what her alleged mental state, was one of two photographic models who dominated the fifties for lovers of the female form throughout the world. The other was Britain's Pamela Green, who is still alive and well and living on the Isle Of Wight, Hampshire. She was a stunning beauty, who realised that she could make a living as a nude model at the age of sixteen. She has been married several times, but her most beloved husband was the late Douglas Webb, who photographed her most memorable poses, and filled books called "Kamera" with Pamela as the principal model. Douglas Webb was a rear-gunner of a Lancaster bomber in WW2, and was in the last plane back from the Dambusters Raid on the German damns, landing with empty fuel tanks and on fire. Pamela once showed me her unretouched photographic collection, and it was breathtaking. God bless Bettie Page and Pamela Green for brightening up our lives!! [...]
