Yup, a little late for those Lord Of The Ring Fans that saw it on première night, waiting 48 hours in advance dressed in medieval gear but here is the review none the less. The third and final installment answers unanswered questions from the 1st two, the effects are once again spectacular but since some children may slip through the theatre doors, the battle scenes leave a lot to be desired. No blood, no guts, just fantasy like Harry Potter type battles. Peter Jackson will probably pick up an oscar this time around leaving a much more deserving movie like Mystic River out to shore. Not to say Jackson does not deserve it since he should have won 3 years ago. Chances are the academy will give it to him for the overall work of art that will surely put him in the history books as a great director. Definitely a must see for those who are into the Hobbit books and have seen the previous 2 installments of course. The only question I ask myself is, what will the fans have to look forward to next winter?
