You know if there hand't been all the drama surrounding this movie's release it probably would have passed by as another wacky comedy from the Rogen & Franco duo. That being said North Korea does guard its secrets and culture pretty tightly from the outside and for good reason. Now that Sony has done the really courageous thing of releasing the movie for everyone, I really think we should all see the movie. For one we have to understand how other cultures may see our right of freedom, liberty & pursuit of happiness as a threat to their way of life. While the interview is a wacky comedy, it makes fun of a culture that is very real and as we all witnessed in the news these past weeks, is willing to take destructive, criminal action against western society to protect it.

Wow do you work for Sony? We should ALL go see it? You are supposed to review the movie, not show your lack of world experience. This movie is at best a one star. It should have been given free with your popcorn purchase.
I have never been to nor lived in a totalitarian regime. I guess that does qualify as lack of world experience in some sense. It is foreign to me for someone to not be able to leave their country or otherwise live freely as with all of the opportunities that are available in westernized society. To subtract the context out of the experience of the movie is simply unfathomable imo. You are free to do so should you feel inclined to though thankfully my free speech rights are still alive and well in North America!
