This was a good movie, and it is worth seeing, if you love the genre, and especially if you were disappointed with Ang Lee's Hulk movie from a few years ago. They have more than made up for it with this one. There is more story. The action scenes are better, and the overall pace of the movie is more accurate for such a larger-than-life character. Edward Norton's Bruce Banner is much more endearing than Eric Bana's (not that I have anything against Bana per say) William Hurt plays the caricature bad military guy in charge... well he plays it caricaturally well. And Liv Tyler once again proves she has absolutely no acting chops whatsoever, but she just pouts and does faces and delivers her lines. Eric Roth plays his role very well. Then again, Roth is very comfortable in secondary roles that require guts and machismo. The visual effects are excellent. But that can't be used in comparing the overall quality of this Hulk with Lee's Hulk, as the technology has evolved since then. So, this is a good movie, worth seeing if you are a fan... a solid 7/10 rating in my book. And a nice surprise ending if you haven't read about it anywhere. You'll get action, you'll get a good story, you'll be entertained.
