Very stylized story, and very beautifully filmed. Slow; really slow, especially at the beginning. It has some interesting historical facts about China and kung fu that I found interesting. The fight scenes were representative but not real, and not at all like watching some MMA fiasco. They certainly gave a true representation of the speed of kung fu at the very highest level. This is a weird comment to make, but it rather reminded me of Annakarinina in its stylized, almost theatrical approach to the story. Amazing cinematography!!
