Joseph Fiennes is quite the actor and I don't fault him in this role. However, this adventure with its premise on board games and inventions is simply not my cup of hemlock, so to speak. It was pretty fascinating to see the old curmudgeon, Ed Asner in a supporting role. His scenes were parts of the film I enjoyed most.
