A very difficult film to rate. On one hand, it was visually beautiful to watch, and the story dealt with interesting/intriguing themes. Yet, there were times when it felt like Aronofsky was trying just a little too hard to impress the film school crowd. The past and future sections could have used a little more development as well (although, that may have created a problem with length) Worth seeing on the big screen.
