THIS is the experiment that vitually every psychology book mentions. I've learned about it for years: the theory, the hypothesis... the results. It is unbelievable to see it on screen. It's so accurate. It would be highly unethical to reproduce the actual experiment these days but this movie gets you mighty close to what had been done in the original one. Try not to pay any attention to the people that give bad reviews of this movie! Please note that they all seem to find it "not realistic" even though the entire movie is based on ACTUAL events but they seem to agree that action flicks that make a mockery of all laws of physics deserve 10s. If you have any interest in general psychology, roles, and/or psychological conditioning, this movie is for you.
