Just came back from the screening, thanks to Cinemaclock. First of all, 3D is not necessary at all. The first was very promising, it was funny as well. But then, it starts going downhill. It's a combination of many factors. For one, it seems like all Russians can speak perfect English, which is very convenient for us as well. Some other things don't add up, but they can be overlooked by not thinking about it too much. Some parts are too slow. The end comes quickly and conveniently and as it usually happens the enemy that looked all mighty in the beginning, all of the sudden is not so tough. I thought the acting was consistently good throughout, there was a standing ovation in the Theater at the end.
