Completely predictable in every which way. You've seen this movie a thousand times. I actually thought Ryan was pretty believable all the way through. He's pretty decent as far as young actors go. The best actor to my eyes was Ian Nelson who played the young Kevin. He actually gave a very good performance as a troubled boy with asthma and being bullied. J-Lo however should really choose better scripts. There is nothing in this movie that does her service. The script is bland, her acting is not that much better and the chemistry is non-existent. It's a shame to see millions of dollars being invested in making movies that simply aren't worth it. Hopefully it won't make any money and we'll not see another one of these ever again. Well it's a thought.
