    The Bourne Identity

Where do we start. Matt Damon, an action hero? Franke Potente, the female love interest? The answer? Yes to both. This movie almost evokes the early Schwartzenegger movies. Truly entertaining and worthy of a viewing. Only negative point: The fight scenes. Too choppy, too close up so that you cannot make out the moves and the film is sped up as in many Jackie Chan movies. Europe as a backdrop is always a bonus. The integrated love story... believable in a fictionous adventure movie kind of way. Franka (best known for RUN LOLA RUN) is a fresh change to the supermodel sidekick used in most movies. The only thing this movie could have used was JEAN RENO."My name is Bourne, Jason Bourne.".
