Some people called this movie pretentious, others just really boring... I call it a bit of both. I think that what Brian DePalma forgot, is that you can't sell a typical 1940's thriller to this audience, it just won't cut it. It's a shame, such a great cast. Mia Kirshner was quite good as the victim, Hillary Swank was impecable (as usual), and the actors playing the Wesleys were quite peculiar though excellent just as well. The plot wasn't the problem either... full of twists and turns... that all started to reveal themselves 1h30 into the movie!!! Well you get the picture.
