I'm sad to say that I saw this tribute to the lunatic who squandered away millions of dollars on ideas that weren't weighted with the realities of practical living. His ultimate "dream", the Grey Goose was the culmination of a madman's demise and if he had any sense, he should have locked himself up and had the money given to his favourite cat. The cat could have made better use of this money than he ever did but to immortalize Howard Hughes in a film (that was unfortunately given an Oscar, or was it two) is the ultimate flaunting of America's love affair with itself and pats itself on the back by giving it awards of merit where no merit is due. If you've ever seen the movie TITANIC made from a german perspective and it's realistic view of the British arrogance, it would do well to rewrite The Aviator in the worldwide view of poverty and pestilence and bring some balance to the views expressed in this film. It might well be called the The American Royalty in Flight.
