    The Avengers

After the viewing of the Avengers movie at the Montreal’s premiere, I am very sorry to say that the movie was not good; it was AMAZING! The Avengers is the culmination of the past few Marvel movies and started in the Iron Man’s movie post credits scene, and continued in the post credits of The Incredible Hulk, Iron Man 2, Thor and Captain America. Finally, these years of efforts came to an end: the final result has arrived on the big screen. Joss Whedon (known for his Buffy the Vampire Slayer series) brought back to life the best superhero team in history! I would like to applaud the whole cast and crew, because they did such an incredible job. The actors were great, except for Robert Downey Jr. (Tony Stark/Iron Man) whose level of amazingness was over 9000; it can’t even be shown on a scale because it was just too high! Robert Downey Jr. was so natural with his text that he let his charisma shine through the character, Robert BECAME Iron Man. Chris Hemsworth (Thor Odinson) also fitted so well in his role of a Viking-like character, an Asgardian from the other side of the universe, and his voice was perfect for the role. Another actor that was casted to play Bruce Banner/Hulk, Mark Ruffalo is finally THE right actor; in the previous two movies, the actors Eric Bana (Hulk, 2003) and Edward Norton Jr. (The Incredible Hulk, 2008) created a too tough looking guy, which didn’t make a good Bruce Banner, because Bruce & Hulk are like Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, the contrast must exist and Mark Ruffalo made pretty sure to keep that contrast by playing a nerdy looking guy, innocent and kind. Chris Evans (Captain America/Steve Rogers), Samuel L. Jackson (Nick Fury), Scarlett Johansson (Black Widow/Natasha Romanoff), Jeremy Renner (Hawkeye/Clint Barton), Tom Hiddleston (Loki), Cobie Smulders (Agent Maria Hill) and more, were also absolutely fantastic. The movie, centered more on the team being a whole, really exploited the connections between each member of the Avengers and even started some “small” feuds. The actors were so into their character that I almost can’t even see them the same way ever again. The connection is just too strong. It is the first time that I see such a great adaptation of the original comics that first came out in 1963. The movie, in a whole, was just a brilliant mix of humor, actions and special effects, all incrusted into a very impressive, not cartoonish, story. There are so many humorous moments, as well as dramatic ones, and I could really feel the mood, along with my friends Nicolas, Sami and Daphne, in the whole theater: laughs when there were funny moments, silence when they were dramatic and shouts when everything on the screen was just insane (in a good way)! Little anecdote: we were seated beside a critic from [...] and her expressions reflected a lot the theater’s and maybe even more exaggerated. The experience to have seen the biggest blockbuster of the year – and top box office: budget of 220,000,000$ and from May 4-6, 200,000,000$ were made, in total, from April 24 to May 6, 641,800,000$ were made! – in a PREMIERE was just so amazing. I know that all the people in the theater room were so very satisfied with the movie. My friends and I were speechless, all we could say was: “It was epic! It was amazing! Best movie ever! ” After several minutes, the first section of the credits ended and we could see a complementary scene during two minutes and revealed us something big, then more credits passed and there was another complementary or more of a bonus scene that popped up on the screen. Dear reader, do not forget to stay until the very END! The Avengers was a mind-blowing blockbuster, and extremely flawless movie! It was funny, had a lot of actions and had a great story. I would even say that it was a marvelous movie! A lot of you readers will feel or felt the same way when you will or did see the movie. I came at the theater with high expectations and the Avengers surpassed them by far, a must see movie! The Avengers really set the bar high for all upcoming movies this year!
