Not that much into animation but this Spielberg effort raised the bar a bit higher for me. Some clever work.

"The Adventures of Tintin" is non-stop action and thrills. It's groundbreaking in the way that the 3D motion capture is used to perfectly adapt the stylized illustrations of Hergé. Fans of the original comic books will be happy to see a faithful adaptation and fans of Spielberg's Indiana Jones' series will be more than impressed with the action sequences. Some of the humour falls flat and the movie runs slightly too long, but the visual style and chase sequences make it a terrific adventure film. (3D Theatrical version on the big screen, August 2011)

Loved it! When the scene first pans in to the activity on the street, it is not immediately apparent that it is animated. The whole movie is a chase scene with non-stop action. Well done.

Armed with an excellent cast, this film hits the audience with great adventure and globe trotting fun. With hints of Indiana Jones and Sherlock Holmes, Tintin is an epic story with memorable characters. A well thought out plot with plenty to keep the viewers interested and entertained. With stunning visuals, this movie is well worth seeing.
