There was quite a bit going on with respect to the characters and how they reacted to the situations they were in (and the other characters)- stranded at the bottom of the ocean - nuclear bomb - ALIENS (floating around) it's not a fast paced movie, more of a suspense/drama with SCI/FI interwoven.
