There are so many reviews available online. Most of them positive, and some negative. Because of this I was very scared I would be disappointed in the movie. But I wasn't! I can easily say this movie is on par with Terminator 1 and 2. It doesn't matter if you saw (or didn't) Terminator 3 and 4. This one is sort of a time continuum linked to T1 and T2. The whole movie had a 80s/90s' feel to it. This is not a great movie, but this is as close as get to the good old Terminator movies.
Some say they didn't like Sarah's character, some other didn't like Kyle. I must admit, both characters felt weird but then it all makes sense and you realize the Mother of Dragon is a good Sarah Connor. As for mister Reese, I didn't really care for the actor. Arnie kind of surprised me. And by that I'm making an allusion to every single movie he's been in for the past 15 years being garbage. He still had the character to fit as a T-800.
To my stupefaction, I did not feel any deception after watching Terminator Genisys. As stated, this is not, in any way, a formidable movie. It's mostly an trip down nostalgia lane. Kind of like going back to your hometown where you grew up and seeing not many things have changed.
Cinema, Dvd or TV, this one is worth seeing. Especially if you were a big Temrinator fan in the eighties and nineties.
