Don't get me wrong-if this was any other movie, I think I would rate it with an 8, but as this is Star Wars and it has prooven itself so many times in the past, I really expected much more. Of course the visuals are great-special effects that kick butt. However, the story has to have more to it than that. This episode was more about a love story than any other, but it was so lame and unfeeling to me. I felt that even the droids (R2D2 & 3CPO) had more chemistry between them than Annikin and Padame. You want an interesting relationship... look at the chemistry between Han Solo and Leah. That was great! I was glad that the annoying Jar Jar had very few lines, which made him tolerable. I found it very unlikely, and then extremely irritating-that young Jedi Annikin acts more like a spoiled rich boy through the whole film."Oh, boo hoo. I never get what I want; everyone is just jealous of me". Give me a break! If nothing else, shouldn't a Jedi have learned external self-control. No wonder Yoda didn't want him to be a Jedi. He didn't want to hear the whiney young Skywalker! I think the next movie has a lot of ground to cover to link these recent Star Wars' to the original 3.
