Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron

This was a really good movie. I enjoy animated features, but they are not all created equal. The story-line was fine (perhaps a little predictible) , but the animation was beautiful! So much meaning was conveyed by the body language of the horses that it didn't matter that they did't speak-you understood every thing that was being communicated. The animation, both 2-D and 3-D was stunning. I saw this movie at the drive-in, which I would not recommend-the night scenes were almost impossible to make out. I am uncertain whether you'd classify this as a kids-movie, as there is some violence (shooting) and scary parts where the main characters are in peril, and some sad parts, but I guess if the parents are there too, it may not be too bad for younger viewers. If you're an adult and have to take a kid to see this movie-don't worry, you'll really enjoy it!
