Spider-Man

Genuinely impressive... I don't think there are any other words to describe this film. In fact, I barely expected anything more than an eye-teasing orchestrated picture, yet another one of those "superhero" movies... but this one has really been polished into a nice piece of work worth your devoted attention!. What I first and foremost appreciated is that you don't feel as though you are watching a typical superhero film as the drama and action are rendered with such a fine balance of proportion. The casting is excellent, the actors (Maguire and Dafoe) deliver great performances, and the script is at a good level. Last but not least, the movie owns a nice kind of slow rhythm, allowing for a thorough narration you can sip like vanilla tea as opposed to a brief supposedly action-packed quickie empty of any valuable content. Of course, you should preferably nourish at least a morsel of interest for the web-slinger to fully appreciate the quality of the efforts invested in this production... but even if such is not the case, you will nonetheless be amazed!...
