    Sophie Scholl: The Final Days

Despite the appearance of the overhead microphone (twice) this was a well-made film focusing on the moral responsibility of the individual. Julia Jentsch's portrayal of Sophie is particularly riveting as she moved from denial to courageous acknowledgment. Gerald Held's portrayal of the detective showed the character's discomfort in his moral position. The battle of wits between Sophie and Detective Mohr was riveting.
