It is difficult to understand the hype - except hype may be contagious. Story lacks of originality, is not credible, script is predictable, and lacks of realism. A fairy tale, to give the hopeless some hope? For kids perhaps, but not for grown-ups. Too much violence for a fairy tale for kids, anyway. And most of us know the desperate, hopeless condition faced by India's poor - why advertise it? No good purpose to spend 2 h of your life watching misery, and baseless romance.
