    Skyfall

What can I say..."Skyfall" was just overall fantastic, and a wonderful addition to the storied franchise. It is without a doubt one of the best Bond movies I have ever seen. Clearly, it has everything that you could expect from an action thriller of this caliber and more. It's funny, clever, brilliant, thought-provoking, and purely entertaining. The story is exceptionally put together and has some interesting twists which seem to fit the bill nicely. Also, the action is well done as that is what adds great energy to the film. The actors all do a great job. With Daniel Craig he gives a thoughtful, moving, and rich artistic performance, which comprises his strongest interpretation of the character to date. However, not everyone may like his rugged portrayal of Bond, although I have no reservations in regard to his acting talents. Personally, I've come to admire Craig as an actor and think he's quite good at what he does. Judi Dench is as classic as ever as M., and is a little more deeply involved with things this time around than she was in "Casino Royale" and "Quantum of Solace"... her character's vim and obstinate will are marveling. As for Javier Bardem, he steals every scene he appears in. He's funny, changeable, frightening, and more than anything wretched. He makes one hell of a great Bond villian. Ralph Fiennes, Albert Finney, Ben Whishaw, Naomie Harris, and Berenice Marlohe are also notable. As for the film itself, it's visually awing. Beautiful scenery shots are entwined throughout of Istanbul, London, Macau, Shanghai, and the Scottish Highlands. Cinematography is excellent. The soundtrack is wonderful, and the new music added fits the mood well. Adele's intro song is surprisingly good. Also, the classic Bond theme song is back, and it's still so cool to listen too. I never tire of it. Besides that, there are some great stunts and thrills throughout "Skyfall" that will keep you well entertained. Great car chase scenes, bare knuckle fights, and insanely massive explosions are just a few of the main factors in the movie. Lastly, the finale is undoubtedly the best part of all. I was totally surprised as I did not expect it to turn out like it did, but that doesn't mean I didn't like it. I did very much. Of course, this flick has its minor flaws. It's not perfect by any means, but these things won't hurt the experience for everyone, you can pretty well overlook them and still enjoy the show. Overall, Skyfall doesn't disappoint and for Bond enthusiasts there are lots of good things in store.
