Did you see Dick Tracy? Remember the bad acting, the stiff characters, the lame story? If you're up for another dry, cliched movie based on a 'graphic novel' (read: "comic book"), here it is. Okay it was kind of interesting how the characters were interlaced with cartooning. But didn't we see that done already in Roger Rabbit? Most of the characters in Sin City are overacted (notably Brittany Murphy) [...]. Nothing unexpected happens, really, unless you count the distracting addition of colour to some things in a primarily black and white movie (like the film caught a Technicolour rash), or the overdone to the point of boring violence. At least they didn't colour the blood. Oh, wait, I think they did for a couple characters. Otherwise it was white (white? No, it doesn't make sense) Waste of my $6.50.
