If you have low expectations, this movie may satisfy you. Then again, it may not. Think of it a mixture between Blair Witch, Wrong Turn and Texas Chainsaw Massacre (the remake) The acting is acceptable. The storyline is also acceptable, except for some pretty big flaws. But most horror movies set deep in the woods are loaded with flaws, so let's overlook them! The pace was a little on the slow side, for a horror kind of flick. SPOILER ALERT: And the main character's mushroom-induced premonition really gets on your nerves after a while. Oh it's a little trippy at first, but quickly wears off! The ending was, well I ain't gonna give it away. So let's say you will either be surprised by it, or you will have guessed it or predicted it fairly early on in the movie... due to storyline and plot direction. Somewhat of an original idea (although clearly a carbon copy of several horror flicks with a few storyline/character changes here and there) Just don't expect to be glued to your seat, or to be anxiously awaiting the next development. It's really not that kind of movie. So, I can't give this movie more than a 5/10, as it just does not deserve more than a so so rating.
