It was alright, but first I must point out to everyone: it's ANIMATED! Yup! So if you're expecting a movie with real life actors, then don't go see this. That's why I was a bit dissapointed within the first five minutes of the movie. Once I got over that this was a cartoon, I started to enjoy it a bit more. However, there are too many undertones of black magic and signing deals with the "devil" AKA a little leprechaun guy. I thought this was supposed to be a kids movie? There is also alot of humor in this movie that is geared towards adults and not kids. So some of the jokes will go right over your kids head. Go see how to train your dragon instead.

Wow, so you actually went to this thinking it was something other than animated. Read man, watch the trailer, do some research before you get of that sofa and trek to a movie theater.
LOL All the Shrek Movies are Animated!! Why would you ever think this one would be different?! Have you even seen the advertisments? Shrek was Awesome!! A Great Movie!! And Yes, there is alot of humor that is geared towards adults; it's supose to be that way!! All of the jokes do go over the kids heads, because they are refering to things children do not even know of. But, that is why adults like to go see movies with there kids. Check out other "animated" kids movies, they have the same thing... is this your first movie? PS. How to train your Dragon was also an awesome movie!!

You my friend are not very bright if you actually thought this was NOT animated. Get a clue before giving a movie a 2 ratin.
