This was a misunderstood Woody Allen comedy, but with this said, it still isn't one of his best efforts. Lily, Jodie Foster and Kathy Bates steal the show as a trio of hookers who give Mia Farrow a lesson in life. Woody Allen's B + W comedy is a memorable homage to German expressionism. It never did well at the box office, from all that one reads.
