Horrible. To me, the worst let-down is that the preview made it look pretty good. Will Smith is a top-notch performer, and Rosario Dawson besides being gorgeous is a very solid actress. Acting? Check. Story? Almost check. Directing and editing? FAIL! Music was good though. It had all of the elements in place to succeed, but too many unanswered questions (no doubt intentional on the director's part) The scenes tie together in a very piecemeal way, and although many emotions are very intense (and well acted), it is often lost in the annoying way the scenes are put together. It had no flow! I also dislike unnecessary details in a film, like suicide by jellyfish. Sorry, but no. It is also not clear why Will's character has to find 'good' people to leave his gifts to. It is also extremely irritating how the very nicely developed love story got abruptly cut short by his decision to follow through with his 'plan'. [...] Sorry.
