First of all let me state that I was not a big fan of Silence of The Lambs. It was okay but I did not think it was all that. Then came Hannibal, long and boring. Now RED DRAGON. There are great things to be said about a movie that can attract big names like: Ralph Fiennes, Emily Watson, Harvey Keitel, Anthony Hopkins and the amazing Edward Norton. The director's view is great and will bring people back to the Silence of the Lambs. The only thing is, you have to watch this without watching Silence of the Lambs right before. Why? This is supposed to take place before Silence of the lambs but Anthony Hopkins is way older and alot beefier than he was in 1990. This being said, I enjoyed this movie. Not scary, not gory, but definitely entertaining. Ralph Fiennes is great as the serial killer and Anthony Hopkins, well he is the ultimate Hannibal (better than Michael Mann's Hannibal in Manhunter) A good movie to see at the cinema.
