Ed Harris was consumed by bringing Pollock to the screen and I laud him greatly. I wish he had won the Oscar that year as he was so intense and brilliant. At least Pollock's real partner in crime, portrayed by MARCIA GAY HARDEN did take the Supporting award, so richly deserved. She equaled Harris in her tirades and softer moments and simply blew me away. If you want to know anything about the great Pollock, make a point of seeing this film. It really is a two character study! One of the best!
