Once Upon a Time in Mexico

Brilliant action sequences laced with cheesy dialogue. Brilliant comedic lines for Johnny Depp. Bandaras' character was perfectly smooth, sexy, mysterious, troubled, tortured, determined and creative. I thought he did an excellent job. Depp's character was equally perfect! He was funny, sleezy, calculated, intelligent, creative, disloyal, manipulative and calm. The calmness of his character is what really sold it though. It tied everything together and created a character that you knew had nothing to lose. Depp's performances keep getting better and better. Although, I'm not sure I've seen a bad one yet. Even Enrique wasn't that bad in this movie. He has some acting skills in there and fit the part surprisingly well. I'm not sure he could hold his own movie, but as a small, yet important, character in a movie he does alright. Overall... an entertaining movie with some excellent lines, performances and action sequences. Watch out for the cheese, though. It can be a bit much at times.
